Aura Counselling Services provides a wide range of psychotherapy and psychological services in English or French to teens, adults and couples.
In-person appointments are available for individuals living in the Ottawa area and Video & Telephone sessions are available for individuals all across Ontario.
Maryse Hebert, MA, Registered Psychotherapist
Maryse is a a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She hold a bilingual Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Alberta and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Maryse has a special interest in working with adults and couples. She has clinical experience in counselling treatment and research, with both youths and adults experiencing different concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image, trauma as well as interpersonal concerns.
Maryse focuses on providing hands on tools and interventions that work to reduce presenting concerns and improve your quality of life as a result of developing new coping strategies. These coping strategies will help you become more resilient when facing challenges and can lead to improved self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. As an Attachment therapist, Maryse can help you explore the root of some of your core issues to foster self-awareness and understanding. The explorative approach in counselling will also help you understand yourself and your symptoms, which is crucial in fostering long-term change.
My goal is to understand you, make you feel valued and accepted and also to make you feel empowered. Together, we will begin a journey of self-discovery, healing and growth.
Rate: $150.44 + HST
Availability: In-person and virtual availability on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the daytime (no current evening time slots available). Maryse is bilingual (French/English) and provides counselling to individuals and couples.
Cléa Morin, MEd, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
As a therapist, Cléa prioritizes collaboration with her clients to create a team-like atmosphere. She specialize in helping adults and adolescents overcome a range of mental health concerns, including relational/developmental trauma, poor emotion management, anxiety, depression, eating disorders and ADHD. Cléa believes that with the right support and guidance, anyone can achieve lasting positive change.
Through evidence-based techniques and an individualized approach, Cléa works with her clients to develop the skills and strategies they need to thrive. Cléa's primary therapeutic approaches include Narrative Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). She will meet clients where they need to be met and use a holistic approach to honour their unique experience.
Cléa is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Communications from the University of Ottawa. She is fully bilingual and can offer services both in English and French.
Rate: $150.44 + HST
